Kalamazoo Deacons' Conference

The Kalamazoo Deacons' Conference is a Christian ministry of relief and development in partnership with believers that seeks to share the transforming love of Jesus Christ and to empower, equip, educate and encourage those who are weary and in crisis.

Third Worship Activities

Festival Choir Seasonal Choir from September to May with concerts on Christmas Eve and  Easter.
Praise Teams 4-6 member team of worship participants
Worship Ensemble  Instrumentalist participanting in the worship service (guitar, bass, drums, flute, piano, keyboard, violin, clarinet, etc.)

  • Calvin Worship Experts Accept Award - John Witvliet and Charsie Sawyer stood onstage in early June before a throng of African-American and white church leaders to accept an award for excellence in church music.
