Spiritual Habits Inventory

Inventory

As you know, this is The Following Year at Third Church.  Together we are exploring what it means to be followers of Jesus.  We believe that there are certain core habits that God invites us to practice in our lives.  When we do they help us to grow in our faith and become more Christ-like.

These habits are Prayer, Witness, Worship, Community, Service, and Discipleship. To help us evaluate how we are doing in these 6 areas, we have designed a Spiritual Habits Inventory.  For each habit there are 4 levels of progress, moving from Beginner to Advanced.  Naturally we are all at different places in our spiritual journey.  We are more advanced in some habits than others.

This is what we are asking you to do: Look carefully at each category.  Select the option in the box that best describes where you are today.

There are two purposes for this.  Completing the inventory will help you identify your strengths and growth areas, so you know what habits to work on as you grow in your faith.  The other purpose is to help us as a Discipleship Team in our planning and programming for next season.  We want to develop discipleship ministries that respond to the areas of need and challenge in our church family.  Your input will help us to do that.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR WILLINGNESS TO COMPLETE THIS  INVENTORY! We pray that this tool will help you and all of us to grow as Followers of Christ. Your Partners on the Journey,

The Discipleship Team of Third Church
